Help me give my students access to technology to use in class to better learn and understand the content, and help remediate gaps in their learning due to the pandemic.

My Project

I am primarily requesting graphing calculators to help many of my underprivileged students who don't have the means to purchase their own. With this technology my students can visualize the concepts, and explore mathematical relationships. They will gain a better understanding of functions, develop better problem-solving skills, and assist with their test preparation (SAT/ACT/ASVAB/etc.).

My goal is for these calculators to assist those students who are unable to procure one themselves and to foster a deeper understanding of math.

Many students in our school have financial struggles and need additional support. These calculators can bridge the gap they are facing financially and academically.

Additionally, students will benefit from having a new pencil sharpener to replace our broken one in the classroom and the Clorox wipes will be used to regularly disinfect desks and shared surfaces/materials.
