This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, thoughtful and enthusiastic young people. They walk in excited to learn and ready to be the best version of themselves. They create an amazing classroom atmosphere that makes our history class come to life.
This year, we created the "J-Shop" where students can earn tickets through kind deeds, class participation or any sort of positive behavior in class.
Through these tickets, students are able to earn treats and snacks to help carry them over through their day.
At times, our snack cabinet also provides nourishment for students who skipped lunch and shortly thereafter regretted it. The loser we get to testing "Crunch Time", the hungrier my students seem to get!
