My Students

My students are from a very poverty-stricken area of Northeastern Oklahoma. My students are across the socio-economic board. Some of my student's families are able to help my class greatly, but many are unable.

Even with these challenges that my students face they are able to look past their differences and still have a great sense of humility and acceptance towards their peers.

The best way to describe my students is they are kind to other students and the world needs their light.

My Project

My students currently work in math groups, but with 29 children in the class, my groups are rather large for small groups. With the added technology, my groups could be broken down even further so more individualized learning can take place. Five Chromebooks would allow me to add another group and fewer distractions for each group.

The use of technology is very important in a classroom, it is the future and we must prepare all children on how to appropriately use technology.

These students will be given a hands-on experience with technology while in a safe environment and be utilizing the technology to assist them with their class work.
