Help me give my students the opportunity to build their math and reading skills and keep their manipulatives organized.

My Project

Kindergarten is such a crucial year for learners and unfortunately many students are entering kinder already behind where they need to be academically and emotionally. I have requested some supplies that will help these young learners practice these needed skills and help to keep them organized. Building their understanding of base ten is necessary and the class set of tens frames will help to enhance their understanding with a "hands-on" approach. I have also included a center/small group activity to help build their phonemic awareness. I also included some items to help organize these supplies and enhance some tools I already have in place. Lastly, I have chosen some books that I will read to help enhance their social-emotional learning and the cushions will be placed in my "calm down" area. I have also included some other tools, such as calm strips, to add to my calm down corner. My goal is to implement these activities and products to enhance student learning.
