This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students who participate in the SRMS Crochet Club show up every single week to keep learning and growing their crochet/crafting skills. After going from 1 day a week to 3 days a week, the club has been expanding and we've doubled our size! Currently, 1 have about 10-15 students that show up on a weekly basis. This means supplies run out quicker, as more students show interest in learning the art of crochet. These materials would support our growing school club and allow my students to create more projects such as beanies, stuffed animals, etc. I love seeing student creativity come to life and teaching them something that I'm passionate about!
