My Project

Hello everyone!

As an avid Crocheter for the past 50 years, I have had the additional joy of teaching youngsters how to Crochet.

Thanks to the post-pandemic ESSER grant, I have had the funding to provide my students with all the materials needed to learn and enjoy this wonderful craft.

Students have loved making their own hats, shawls, scarves, scrunchies, sweaters, purses, fingerless mitts, and even cute plushie animals. Sadly, since the ESSER grant is no longer available in Connecticut, I no longer have the funds to purchase the materials my students (especially the beginner crocheters) will need.

Since the first day of school, students have asked me when will Crochet Club begin. With your help, donors, I can continue teaching students what I know they will love. They will not only gain the skills through a stress-free environment of creativity, but they will also strengthen their skills in math.
