My Students

Most of my students are eager learners but do better in the hands-on classes then in the strictly academic classroom. They love it when I introduce a new activity that requires them to problem solve and become creative with solutions.

They thrive on the actual doing of projects and learning multiple facets of an area of interest.

This teaches them real world life skills such as problem solving & critical thinking instead of just book work to help them in real life.

My Project

These drones will introduce the students to a whole new field of learning that they have never used before. It will introduce the students to the growing area of employment that drones have created. These drones will be utilized by two different vocational programs - Advanced Integrated Manufacturing and Diversified Ag - to enhance our programs.

The goal is to not only use the drones directly with the students in my high school vocational class, but to also do demonstrations to the younger students to spark their interest.

This field is ever expanding with their uses and we need to get on board.
