My Students

Have you ever wondered what muscles you used to use a keyboard or run down the road? My students are learning the function and care of the Human Body as well as how to respond in an emergency.

My students revel in the joy of learning hands-on skills to save a human life.

They are learning vital skills to prepare a career in Emergency medical services. They are smart, inquisitive, and compassionate and have a hunger to serve their community.

My Project

These items will give my students the hands-on skills required to pass the National Registry Exam for Emergency Medical Responder. They will also give my students a solid foundation to pursue a career in emergency services. Emergency Services personnel are vital to the care of our nation and are the first line of care in saving someone's life. It is imperative that we continue to foster the need for more emergency personnel and grow the profession so that we may combat the rising need presented by the aging population as well as the drug crisis in our nation.

My students will CPR, spinal immobilization, vital signs assessment, splinting, cervical stabilization and tourniquet skills.
