See what Mr. B. is requestingHelp me give my students an addition to their educational library of award-winning tabletop games. These specific games hone high-level thinking, cooperative, logic, and specifically target learning about politics and political negotiation in a non-partisan, yet in-depth manner.

My students are amazing, yet I struggle to provide an even economic playing field due to the disparity in education funding. Simply put, schools serving low-income students cannot support projects such as this. I serve all students in the district ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 6.
Our school district is a highly diverse, low income, and high-need district.
Approximately seventy-five percent of our students are economically disadvantaged. Sixty-nine percent are eligible for free or reduced-rate lunches. We service a sixty-eight percent minority population. Due to economic concerns, many initiatives and resources are not available unless funded through the generosity of donors like you. All students deserve to experience a variety of different learning settings that will foster the development of skills beyond the traditional classroom.
My scholars rely on new and innovative thinking, learning, and processing skills in the process of developing into productive and functional citizens. Through educational play, students develop these high level skills and are tasked to learn and implement political strategies and concepts in tandem with logic skills in a variety of situations. Funding would provide a critical addition to their educational library of award-winning tabletop games. Each artifact collected in the library is vetted based on the skills promoted through intellectual play. The current selection includes items that have been recognized for their innovation and merit including, but not limited to MENSA Select Awards, Parents' Choice Awards, and Gen Con EN World title holders and nominees.
Through this initiative, every student PK-5 would have an opportunity to hone grade-appropriate, high-level thinking, logic, and targeted grade-level appropriate introductions to politics through the structured use of the project tabletop library.
Titles are selected based on targeted skills to be taught, gameplay mechanics, reviews, and their educational needs.
