I teach at a Title I school where the students love to learn in hands-on experiences. In my kindergarten classroom, the students come from different families with different home experiences. We all come together each day to explore, create, and enjoy school!

Every day in our world is brand new and full of excitement! My goal is to create an environment full of lifelong learners. My students think, create, and process information in their own individual ways. Each of them needs to experience learning in different ways throughout the day to meet their individual learning styles.
My Project
We work hard in our classroom to learn and to lift each other up as a school family. We need these math supplies: magnetic rekenrek, number line, number cows and a pocket chart to enhance our math instruction. We also need Lego baseplates, water marbles and magnetic tiles to use in our STEM centers. The STEM part of our classroom is growing in a great way! Finally, we need a laminator with pouches for our center work, a timer to keep us on task, dry-erase pockets for extra center activities, magic boards for writing, a headphone splitter for the listening station and stamps for outstanding work. All of these things are very different but work all together for the greater good and organization of the flow of our classroom. Each supply was carefully thought out to ensure great use in our room.
