My Students

I am thrilled to be moving up to Kindergarten from our Pegasus and Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) class. My students are bursting with excitement to begin their kindergarten year, and I look forward to providing many of them a comforting and welcoming transition into their new room.

My students are packed full of energy, curiosity and eagerness to try and learn new things.

They love any opportunity to use their hands and get down and dirty as they explore the world and discover new learning. In my classroom, learning is safe, engaging and, most of all, FUN!

My Project

This carpet will be used every single day! This carpet will be a gathering place for all the students during story time and daily whole group learning. Not only will it create a gathering space for the students during story time, but it also provides flexible seating for the students whether they are lying down, sitting criss cross apple sauce or kneeling. This rug will provide students with the ability to stay more engaged which will allow them to grow as learners!

Our current carpet is distracting with stains, frayed edges and bleeding colors.

We need a fresh inviting space to begin our days on the right track.
