My Project
My students are curious, hands-on learners with a passion for law enforcement and forensic science. As a Title I school with many English Language Learners, engaging, real-world experiences are crucial for their success.
This project will provide essential forensic lab supplies—plaster for impression analysis, toxicology testing kits, and Blue Star for blood spatter investigation—allowing students to apply classroom knowledge in realistic crime scene scenarios.
These hands-on experiences make complex forensic concepts more tangible, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
My goal is to give students an authentic look into forensic investigations, preparing them for careers in law enforcement and beyond. These resources will not only enhance engagement but also build confidence as they practice real-world techniques.
What makes my students special is their determination. Many overcome obstacles daily, yet they show up eager to learn and ready to tackle new challenges. With these materials, I can provide them with opportunities that bring their dreams of forensic science to life!
