This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students and I are a big family who spend more time at school than we do in our own homes. Because of this, it is important that our classroom environment be comfortable and inviting. Having a classroom that is fun, colorful, lively, and personalized helps students be motivated to learn. The Cricut and the accessories will allow me to create materials and decorations that will make my classroom feel like home for my students. I will use it to make engaging bulletin boards, labels for classroom/student items, uplifting quotes/phrases to put on the walls, door decorations, and much more.

We are a creative bunch and we will create projects that are eco friendly.

As we use our Cricut machine to make decorations for our classroom we will reuse the paper scraps to make our own paper. We will make stationary that we will use during special occasions as gifts for our favorite people.
