Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Visual aids are building blocks of any classroom, but are an essential part of ESL instruction. As English Language Learners, my students rely on visual cues. Clearly labeled materials helps with student independence and self-esteem as well as enable the daily learning experience. It also helps with organization and self-help skills. These things are important when working with students that need visual reinforcing to assist with communication.
Having access to the cricut maker will help them develop their English vocabulary to improve reading comprehension, and fully develop their speaking and writing skills by learning language in a creative and engaging way.
