Cricut in the Classroom

My Project

When you take a peek at my classroom you will see eager faces, ready to learn.

You will see students who enjoy sharing laughter with their peers, putting their problem-solving skills to use with STEAM activities, creating artwork, and playing with their friends.

This year I have many English Language Learners/Newcomers. I am looking for supplies and activities that will help my newcomer/limited English students feel comfortable in the classroom and that will get them talking to their classmates.

To do this, I am requesting a Cricut Maker. We will use the Cricut for many things. I can make labels for items to help my students learn the language. But most importantly, technology bring students together. Students love to help each other figure things out, and are so proud when they show each other what to do. After creating a design on the iPad, we will use the Cricut to cut out the design to put on coffee mugs, tote bags, and more!

I am excited to provide the resources for all my students, and know that my English Language Learners and Newcomers will especially benefit from them.
