My Students
My students come from a low-income district where online learning is new to everyone. The students deserve to still get a high-quality education online. Give them a chance to learn how to be self-sufficient. The students want to learn and are eager to learn as much as they can.
My Project
I am requesting a Cricut and accessories. The materials that I am asking for can help my students. During their skills for life course, they are going to be able to learn how to personalize clothing, sew pillows, and sew on buttons. These materials will help the students get to mark things that are theirs and make sure that they have things to design with.
Most of my students are low income and could use these resources.
Sometimes students come in with clothing that could have a hole, and no way at home to fix it.
With a Cricut, iron on materials, and the tools, the students will be able to fix the hole in their clothing so that they don't have to worry about being made fun of for things out of their control.
