This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious and hard working. AP Physics is a very challenging course. It requires my students to use both conceptual skills, problem solving, and math. To team build, we design t-shirts.
The Cricut Explorer 2 and related supplies would help us not only with classroom projects, it will let us create the t-shirts they design.
It seems like a small thing but working together to compromise on a design gives them a chance to relax. The t-shirts get worn to the exam and to our physics day at an amusement park. There are also items that we could design such as cars, buildings, and boomerangs that the Cricut could help us create. Students would have to apply their physics knowledge in the designs. Part 1 will get us the Cricut, tool set, and some smart iron-on materials.
