it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello!
We are 2 special education teachers who love to teach students how to use technology and how to apply it in real life.
At the High School of Arts and Technology, were we teach, we endeavor to give students not only their core classes, but also other experiences where they can explore their creativity and expand their skillset and use it beyond the classroom.
Our goal is to create an elective where students can develop their artistic skillset through learning how to operate the Cricut and develop a portfolio. Your donation will further support students in learning how to create digital art, how to use of the Cricut Design Space, and how to design material for the PBIS (positive behavior intervention supports) store on campus.
In class, students will create original designs for school purposes and create exclusive items for the school’s PBIS store. Through their experiences of working in tandem with the PBIS store, the students will be able to sell their original creations, help run the store, and learn bookkeeping.
