it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my students purchase a Cricut Maker to cut, write and add decorative effects for future projects. Visual supports are a research based way to help students with special needs access the world around them. This means posting pictures and visual labels around the classroom environment and throughout lessons to help students navigate and understand their environment. My students often require visual support to help them cope through big emotions, manage their behaviors, and learn academic skills.
The Cricut will be used to help us make those important visual supports and will also help us create beautiful art projects.
Fine motor skills are a challenge for some students with special needs, and the Circut can be used to help cut out shapes for our little artists to create with.
