My Students

My school serves 250 PreK-5th graders. The school is in a high poverty area. The majority of the students come from at-risk families and homes. My school has 98% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. My school is a safe place for students. They look forward to coming to school each day. Teachers at my school inspire students to be their very best every day.

My students are curious, energetic, fun, kind, and hard-working.

They love interacting and collaborating. Teachers and staff at my school are always looking for ways to inspire, motivate, and engage all students.

My Project

A Cricut Air 2 is an electronic die cutting machine that can be used in so many educational ways. Students and staff can use this device to work on awesome and unique projects in science, math, social studies, and more! Cricut Air 2 will allow my students and staff to create many different kinds of awesome, innovative projects. These projects will encourage teamwork, planning, creativity, and hands-on experiences. I envision classrooms and students working together to create amazing things.

The Cricut can cut so many different materials! From recycled cardboard to fabric, it cuts everything. Chipboard, vinyl for decorating 3-D printed pieces, card stock, watercolor paper, the list goes on and on. Think of all the fun projects students and teachers can create!!
