Cricut Accessories For Our Work-based Learning Enterprise
Help me give my students stainless tumblers, stainless coffee mugs, cardstock, iron on vinyl, transfer tape, cricut mats, vinyl sheets and pencil pouches to help us make goods for our work-based learning enterprise!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our students are incredible individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities. They work extremely hard to develop academic, independent living, and career skills.
Our students are from impoverished neighborhoods in the New York City urban area and don't have the same privileges available as many other school-aged students do.
Please support our classroom, so we can help develop our students' transition skills. Transition skills are the skills they need to develop in order to live as independently as possible after graduation.
My Project
Our students are excellent learners and focus mostly on transition and work-based learning. They come from multiple backgrounds all over our city and have individual strengths that are very impressive. When we focus on work-based learning, we tend to try to be as modern as possible and that is why we purchased a Cricut machine. This machine allows for our students to design multiple products to create and sell in their school community (to purchase more supplies for the Cricut)
Supporting this project will help our students create vinyl iron ons/decorations, greeting cards, t-shirt stencils and travel coffee mugs.
