My Project

The Creativity Unleashed Project is going to be utilized with middle school students to help them explore creative options in design and learning. The program would allow students to design and create projects in different core subject areas, such as Math, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts and then print them with a Plotter Printer. For example, this year our 6th grades have designed posters demonstrating their learning of the rock cycle and the water cycle. Our 8th graders have designed posters demonstrating their learning about Georgia Studies and famous African Americans. Our 7th graders have designed posters illustrating their learning about genetics and biomes.

Using Adobe Express or Canva, the objective is to inspire students to engage with subject matter in a creative manner.

By showcasing student work around the school we hope to inspire more conversations about meaningful subjects. For our students, this means that each exposure to using Adobe Express or Canva, allows our students to learn skills that are directly translatable to high school and the future work force. Our focus will be upon teaching the design skills needed to work effectively with the software mentioned while students build core knowledge of subject areas.
