Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Literacy and language are two of the most important skills my primary-aged English language learners need to be successful. While building on the skills my students possess in their home languages- Spanish, Haitian-Creole, Arabic, and many others, these materials will give my students the opportunity to enhance their early literacy and English language skills through exposure to classic stories and engaging songs. We remember best through engaging activities, song and stories and using our Tonies will help to make the stories and tales we read in class come alive for us!
