Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative and eager to learn. They come from low-income households and have not had much experience in or out of school.
My students and I have started the distance learning journey.
Many of my students don't have the ability to learn online. Many depend on worksheet packets I have been able to send them. My students have tried to adjust and they continue to be eager learners.
My Project
I would really appreciate it if you could help give my students materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I love to see them in our weekly Zoom meetings.
I am asking for an Acer Chromebook to share with the students that don't have the technology at home to work with us online.
Some of my students don't have the technology to join us online or to do their work. They are missing out on some of the reading that is available to them online as well.
