Help me give my students this cricut and the basic starting tools to take our classroom creating to the next level and help the students bring their imaginations to life.
My students are all unique; spanning a broad spectrum of diversity, socioeconomic status, and learning abilities. But when they are in my room their differences do not matter. They come together and create, invent, and engage with STEAM.
I teach every student in my K-5 building, and together we are able to accomplish amazing things.
My students are constantly experimenting, brainstorming, and pushing their educational limits. No matter what they are working toward, my students learn lessons from every step of the process, whether it is force vocabulary in Kindergarten or how to use a hammer correctly without hitting their fingers in 5th grade.
Creating is a school favorite in my classroom. Students love to come into my room and create the ideas they have in their minds. Whether they are drawing what inspires them, making scrunchies out of fabric, hot glue, and rubber bands, or building their future mansions out of Legos. Anything is possible in the STEAM room.
My Project
In my STEAM classroom my elementary students have the opportunity to create anything they can imagine. A cricut would take their creating to the next level.
With this tool students will be able to cut themselves into the future.
The future where anything is possible and the only limitations is their own creativity.
The cricut will be used by myself and other teachers to enhance instruction and provide the students with more materials and supplies. The students will also be able to use it to enhance their creativity and help bring their ideas to life. The students will no longer be limited by the supplies given, with the right tools they will be able to create anything they need for a given project. The possibilities are endless and I cannot wait to see what the students and teachers create.
