My Project
We are requesting paint brushes to help with my students fine motor skills. The brushes will also help them with creating art pieces that help build creativity, self expression and self confidence. The googly eyes will be used for self portraits as well as holiday crafts. The craft jewels will be used for decorating art projects that require my students to use self expression and their creativity. The dry erase markers will be used for writing and tracing practice on the white board. The reward stickers will help with the student's positive behaviors.
The supplies that we are requesting will help my students to build creativity, self confidence and self esteem through crafting.
We want to build on expanding and broadening students creativity. It will also build pride in creating a craft or art project individually or in a group. Preschool is the students first experience with school. It is probably the first time that they will work and socialize with peers. These opportunities will help them build a strong foundation for future learning. My students are eager to learn new things and share it with their peers. They are learning to work cooperatively with their classmates and verbally state how they are feeling. I am very proud of my students!
