My Project

Thank you for checking out our Donors Choose. I teach K-8 in a small, rural, high poverty school. My job is to broaden students' minds and imaginations through art. Unfortunately, with costs rising, our school's budget does not allow me to purchase enough supplies to properly enrich students' lives. We simply need the basics. Good drawing paper, new oil pastels, blick acrylic paints, tempera paints for my K-4 kids, glue in both the bottle and sticks. Simple things like 1oz containers are so useful for keeping paint from drying out during projects. Construction paper for my elementary kiddos to learn fine motor skill through cutting and gluing. Just the basics to make an art classroom run properly and allow these children to broaden their skills, understanding and imaginations. I would like my students to have the same opportunities afforded to larger, better supplied schools and never feel that their school experience was any less.

Through helping fund these supplies, you will be helping around 500 students have a larger variety of supplies which are essential to any art classroom.
