Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in first grade love making hands on projects when they can use crayons, construction paper and glue sticks. They have learning centers to help create and make literacy projects throughout the year.
During the school year many of our supplies were used and new things were needed.
A book organizer would allow students to see the books easily when choosing their favorite book to read. I would swap these seasonally so students could access a larger variety of books and literature. The students in first grade love reading and creating every day!
