Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting 2 sets of 3D pens with colored filament. Students love 3D printing. These pens would be a creative avenue to introduce 3D printing. These pens are kid-friendly and come with all the materials the students need to uleash their creativity.
These 3D pens could be the hands-on learning catalyst to spark imagination, increase visual-spatial awareness, and problem-solving.
These will initially be used by all students in our program. However, I would love for these pens to be a beginning block of 3D printing, that eventually leads to larger, or more complex, 3D printing jobs. It could also be the other way, where students are essentially the 3D printer creating their vision. I am just excited for students to have access to this valuable tool, that could spark a life-long interest, turned potential career interest. Also, students could use this to 'invent' some that could solve problems, as well as spark artistic abilities students never knew existed.
