Help me give my students access to a creative world of technology! Stylus pens will open new doors for our students that possibly would have never had access to a creative platform.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is a brand new Title I, at-risk school, with a population of over 70% English Language Learners. The majority of our kids are struggling with so many outside challenges.
School is the one place our kids can feel loved, supported, safe, and secure!
We are very fortunate to allow our students to participate in sports programs, such as cheerleading! Our cheerleaders work so hard, trying to conquer and surpass their goals even through our new virtual platform. My team is a group of diverse young ladies who compete with teams and schools with years of cheer and gymnastics experience. We do not have that advantage. We work hard, set goals, and do everything we can to make it happen!
My Project
Our middle school students received iPads through a grant in hopes of closing the digital gap among students of low-income households. Providing stylus pens for our art students will open a world of creativity! The pens will be very beneficial allowing our students to fully access creative art specified applications on their iPads. Some students will discover a creative side that perhaps they didn't know they had.
By donating to our project you will give our students an opportunity to explore new opportunities that might lead them to a long life career choice.
I have witnessed the magic of art and the effect it can make in a student's life, from allowing a student to release stress and escape their worries to boosting their self-esteem in ways they would have never imagined.
