With the outbreak of COVID-19 our school was forced to transition to remote distance learning. It's been challenging to develop new methods to educate in this new environment. I am requesting art supplies to keep students engage during this pandemic. We are using many online platforms for our distance learning. I would love to have students have art supplies so they can spend less screen time and be more creative. My students are doing distance learning through different platforms such as Zoom, Skieslearn, Google Classroom, ReadWorks, IXL, Newsela, and Studies Weekly.
My Project
During this difficult time, when the world is so uncertain, my students could escape into their imaginations with the requested art supplies Art will provide my students with an outlet to express and communicate their feelings during this uncertain time. I know that learning from home has been a challenge and these art supplies will not only brighten their day but give them items that can help with their inner expressions. The materials will help my student create projects for their assignments and bring a little fun to the home by creating fun and exciting artwork. When the project is funded, I will distribute it to the students so they can start creating art right away.
