Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In my class, I have 28 Kindergarten students. 28 excitable, energetic, and enthusiastic students. The school is located in an urban area with students who come from diverse backgrounds. Despite the many challenges we face. I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with a creative and meaningful learning experience.

My Project

I selected these items so my students are given an opportunity to be creative. I want my students to have a variety of different art supplies to be able to explore different types of art. With the use of paint, playdoh, beads, and letter stamps my students will practice fine motor skills, cognitive development, literacy, math, social and creative skills. Students are exposed to limited material due to limited funds from the district. I would like to provide them with material to create and express their artistic abilities. I would like to give students the ability to fully create, build and express themselves.
