Hello. I am requesting numerous products for my classroom project, "Creativity, Historical Inquiry, and No More Headaches." First, I am requesting basic art supplies for students to use when they complete one-pagers and small projects in U.S. History. I have no glue sticks, very few markers, and the only scissors that are available for classroom use look like they are from the 1800s. Second, I am requesting some string lights so we do not have to use the overhead lights at all times. Sometime, the overhead lights are just too much. I have found a dimmer environment is more calming and welcoming. Differentiated lighting in the afternoon really helps stuents focus, relax, and do their best. Third, I am requesting some stickers to give out as rewards to students. Students really enjoy getting these
My goals for this project are to provide students with the supplies and tools they need to be successful at historical inquiry and understanding, critical thinking, and respectful and creative expression of their views.
