Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a creative writing class and I do not have curriculum, supplies, nor workbooks provided, meaning I create everything from scratch.

The course is divided into three sections: the art of writing the short story; the art of poetry writing; the art of mythology creation.

Students enjoy having the opportunity to showcase his/her creative talent instead of writing essays.

The workbooks and paper will provide a more unified student learning experience for our rising creative writers.

Project based learning is the format for all three units so I make each student a booklet for each unit. The already made worksheets from these books will be included and will be vastly beneficial to both students as well as teachers.

Updating the mythology information as well as learning materials will provide a more current curriculum for the students.

The pens will provide a smooth writing utensil to inspire ideas for daily short writes. Hopefully, it will inspire the words to fly off the paper!
