Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a dual language teacher starting in a new school this September. I will have 30 students with diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and capabilities. This is my first year at my new school and want my students to have everything that they would need to ensure that they are engaged from the very first day of school.
It is vital that my students have access to art materials such as pens, markers, colored pencils, and more in order for them to express their thoughts and views via a creative outlet.
This is especially true for my English Language Learners who are only at the very beginning of their English acquisition journey. It is only with your support, kindness, and generosity that will make their school year a success right from the start.
