Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each year our general education students, clubs, and athletes work together for several months to create a special education field day for ten schools. All the artwork is done in-house at our Fine Arts Magnet School.
Over 700 students come together to create a culture of joy and giving by participating in a multi-station field day.
The students, clubs and teams enjoy a shared experience at this multi-stationed day of activities. Having a printer to create even more stimulating visual decorations will enhance this beautiful event.
At the end of the event the smiles on the faces of volunteers and participants tells the story of success. Hearing the comments of gratitude from all involved is the most rewarding part of the day.
