Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Kindergarten classroom is full of young artists and creative thinkers who love to draw, cut, glue, and build. To nurture their creativity, I would love to establish a designated crafting table that can be used as a free-choice option during the day. This space would provide students with access to a variety of crafting supplies, including paper, markers, glue, scissors, and other materials that encourage self-expression and fine motor development.
By having a dedicated area for crafting, students will have the freedom to explore their imaginations, develop problem-solving skills, and take pride in their creations in a structured yet open-ended environment.
In this project I am seeking funding to purchase a round craft table on wheels along with an assortment of quality art supplies that I can add to what we already have in class. This table will not only be a space for artistic exploration but also a hub for collaboration, as students share ideas and work together on projects. It will help enhance student engagement, foster independence, and support early childhood development in a meaningful way. Your support will help create a vibrant and inspiring space where my Kindergartners can learn and express themselves creatively each day!
