This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love coming to work every day because I get to share my love of art, history, and mathematics with my students. In return, they are teaching me about their personal culture. Most of my students come from low-income homes where they experience many struggles daily. But do they show this? No, they show me that the world will not bring them down and that they are excited to learn something new every day when they walk into my room.
I am extremely passionate about the implementation of STEM content in my art classroom.
With 3D capabilities in the classroom, the possibilities are endless for creating. The sky is truly the limit! If there is anything kids love doing, it is building! In my classroom, I keep building materials for the students to make projects. It is a great way to feel successful and productive.
The 3D Doodle Pens will help build artistic and technical skills in a new and innovative way in my art classroom! These pens mix technology, art, and math together in such a beautiful way. I can imagine my students creating miniature buildings and painting replicas, and objects with these pens.
Thank you for your consideration in supporting my wonderful art students in our program At Northwest Middle School.
