Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are eager and creative students who are always ready for a challenge. These STEM activity kits are one way to interact in small groups to use their creativity and design skills and use and create chain reactions and problem solve the fairy tale scenarios using the scenario cards included.

The stem kits will provide the opportunity for my students to develop their problem solving skills as they learn about structures, stability, and force and motion.

The kits I am requesting for my students include a variety of age ranges to provide a comfort level and challenge component. The K-Grade 2 master set provides an introductory level challenge for my students as they engage in these STEM activities while the Grades 3-5 set allows for further inquiry into spatial reasoning and logical sequencing of their STEM creations.
