Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

An all-in-one shelving unit to house manipulatives will help my students have easier access to materials as they choose what interests them. We have materials, but having them together in one place and in readily available, clear, containers, will allow them to take and return the materials in an easy, organized manner.

My students love playing together in our TK classroom.

Having the materials in easy to carry bins will give them the independence to choose and take the materials to a spot in the room on their own. After clean up, they will be able to return the materials without worrying if the items fit back in a spot.

My students love the independence of choosing what interests them, they love working and playing together, and they do their best to clean up and keep things organized. I think having these cubbies will help them a little more with that organization.
