My Project

I teach high school English. We are big on the ACT prep side of things. I am looking to create creative ways for students to study for the ACT, using art to combine students' creativity with study habits. I want students to create projects on good study habits and share those with me.

This will be project-based learning, where students research, practice, and report back their findings on the best study habits, things to know, etc., on how to pass the ACT and generate the best score.

I want students to find a way to make the ACT fun, find unique ways to study, and learn how to be successful.

This will be oriented to peer-based teaching. Students will be able to work together, learn from each other, and teach one another what they have learned from their research and peers. This will be great for teaching students how to research, meet deadlines, and present in front of peers. It will also be a character-building activity with an emphasis on public speaking.
