Creativity and Culture in French Class

Help me give my students supplies to create cultural and fun activities in French class.

My Students

Our school has a French/English dual language immersion program from first to sixth grades. The students spend half a day in the French class, and half a day in the English class.

The fourth graders are learning the French language, but also sciences, mathematics, and social studies in French.

I am so impressed by the natural abilities of my students to learn a foreign language while they don't have opportunities to speak French at home.

My Project

I would like to offer to my French immersion students the opportunity to explore French culture and language by creating posters, comic strips, booklets, games... For that, we will need a color printer, color cartridges, a laminator and laminating pouches, storage organizer boxes. Also, I have a reading corner in my classroom and would like to make it cozy by adding two bean bag chairs for kids.

My students will benefit from joyful, colorful, and cooperative activities in a warm setting.

These new resources will support and enhance my students' social-emotional, academic and cultural learning through interactive activities that develop their creativity and friendship while being in French immersion.
