Creativity and Critical Thinking Through Project Based Learning

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

ESL and Special Education students are incredibly special. They bring unique perspectives, diverse learning styles, and enrich the classroom community. Their presence inspires inclusive, creative teaching that values every voice.

A mobile organizer keeps materials accessible and organized, promoting student independence.

Cleaning supplies help us maintain a safe, healthy environment—critical for learning, focus, and daily attendance.

My goal is to provide tactile, immersive experiences that support cognitive growth, language development, and social-emotional learning. In an urban classroom, where students often face systemic inequities, it’s vital to integrate racial justice into our work. That means celebrating cultural identity, affirming every student’s worth, and creating a space where all learners feel seen, respected, and empowered.

Every resource we bring into the room helps build equity—one project, one student, one day at a time.
