This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet to them, they learn new and exciting adventures through stories and they love to retell stories! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to explore with books. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched them throughout the school year grow and learn through books. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy learning through story time.
With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will prepare them for school success in kindergarten and beyond.
They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in development in many content areas. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with printed words.
