This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of our students have aspirations to play music and bring joy to there community. One of the main challenges we face as music teachers is having the necessary tools and resources available for all of our students that walk into the music rooms daily and that are very eager to learn. The violin bows we currently have are used daily with over 150 students a day, and as expected the violin bows wear out and it is a huge challenge for us to replace them as needed.
For many of our students playing the violin along with other instruments is the main reason why they like coming to school, and put forth their best effort to be excellent students and be the leaders we know they can be, and be the best versions of themselves.
Please consider helping us obtain this set of violin bows so we can continue the work in providing our students with wholesome learning opportunities to perform in for there community. Through music lessons and live performances the students are learning to become young responsible and reliable people, preparing them for successful futures.
