My Students

I have the honor and privilege of serving low income children through the Head Start Program. These children are my heroes.

When given the opportunity, and the proper material I know these student will shine bright.

They have so much eagerness at this age to explore and learn.

You'll never know these students could be our next famous artist, doctors, scientist, lawyers and the list can go on and on. Nothing is impossible when given the opportunity. These children are our future.

My Project

An early childhood environment is many things: It's a safe place where children are protected and are easily supervised. The low shelves and clear bins will make the materials easily acceptable for the children and the teachers will be able to clearly supervise because of the height of the shelf.

Early childhood philosophies stress the importance of play, hands-on-learning, and whole child development, a good early childhood environment supports these activities.

With the storage bins children will be able to easily select the manipulative they would like to use.

Young children need hands-on activities. This allow them to use their fine motor skills as well as eye coordination along with many other developmental skills.
