Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at a Title I school, in the City of South Gate, where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. My class consist of English Language Learners. Many of my students face academic challenges do to language abilities. Despite their language abilities they continue to thrive and reach for high academic standards.
My students are hardworking individuals that are moving forward , increasing their language abilities!
My students are excited about learning and eager to achieve high goals! They are ready to conquer the world!
My Project
The future of learning is within the technology at hand. With a camcorder, students will be able interview teachers, do presentations, and have a school newscast!
Through video recordings the eagerness of learning has endless possibilities .
With a camcorder I will be able to record student project-base presentations. We will be able to interview teachers or create a school news segment to be uploaded to our school website!
In addition to all the cool projects waiting to happen, students will gain self confidence, become better speakers, enhance their creativity and develop critical thinking skills! We can't wait to set up the equipment and make learning exciting and fun!
