My Project

I have a class full of eager students that are excited to learn. They enjoy coming to class everyday and love to explore and learn new ideas. My class is more engaged with lessons when they are given an opportunity to create.

Building and creating together develop relationships that support personal and learning connections that extend far beyond the classroom.

I am looking forward to having activities that will engage and inspire students to be creative while practicing reading, math and science skills. I intend to use items such as connecting cubes, marble run game, plastic balls, corn hole game, stacking board games and beads to teach math concepts and review math skills by using games to increase student engagement, collaboration and enjoyment. Handbells, model magic, glitter pens and markers make art time exciting.

I hope to encourage a desire to learn about science, technology, engineering, art, and math by rewarding students with fun STEAM projects that use these materials.
