This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Writing can be a struggle for younger students. I want to ensure that all my students feel comfortable having a space and choosing various writing tools to help them on their writing journey. By giving them a free choice of pens, pencils, and colored paper to make their writing unique to them, they can engage in the writing process. Having whiteboards and paper with explicit instructions on how the writing process works ensures that all students understand how writing can be developed over time. Plus, making time for free writing with composition books will enhance the creative process.

Writing is essential for creativity and understanding the world around us.
