Creative Writing Center

Help me give my students a tablecloth and stacking stools for a creative writing center space in our classroom!

My Students

My students are eager readers! As first graders they make large jumps throughout a school year. They need books that have a sentence on the page to chapter books! They quickly read through books and are always on the search for something new and exciting!

My students are located in the North-East section of Philadelphia.

We also have a high English as a Second Language population. At our school, we have a very large diverse community of students.

My Project

In our classroom, we have a small space to utilize. I would like to turn my teacher's desk into a writing center for students to have a space to be creative and explore the joys of writing!

I need supplies to create this writing center, such as a tablecloth to cover my teacher's desk, and stools for students to sit on around the desk.

With your help donating to this project, my students will be able to explore writing during centers rotation. Each student will have the chance to participate in the writing curriculum each day while sitting on the new stools at the designated writing center. All of your support will help foster an environment for a love of writing in the next generation of students!
